Ms. Esposito was born and raised in Fremont, Ohio which is only 15 miles from Cedar Point, a world wide known amusement park in Ohio. She attended and graduated in 1987 from Fremont Ross High School where she was “athlete of the year” her senior year and was the first 8 year letter winner at Fremont Ross High School. Ms. Esposito attended The University of Toledo and majored in Physical Education, Health and Sports Medicine and acquired her Bachelors degree in 1993. She competed in Track and Field and Cross Country for UT all 4 years.
Upon graduation Ms. Esposito began a 19 year coaching career as the Head Track and Field and Cross Country Coach for Fremont Ross High School earning “Coach of the Year” 10 times for both boys and girls programs. She was District “Coach of the Year” in 2004 and her boy’s Track and Field team placed 4th in the state in 2004. Ms. Esposito has had 33 athletes move on to the full scholarships in her respective sports over her tenure at Fremont Ross. Beginning in fall 2009 she coached Track and Field for Tiffin University specializing in the area of sprints and hurdles.
Ms. Esposito began her teaching career in 1993 with St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School for 3 years until she began teaching Physical Education/Health/Swim for Fremont Middle School from 1996 until 2010. In 2005 Ms. Esposito earned her Master’s Degree in Administration and Leadership from Jones International University located in Bolder, Colorado.
Ms. Esposito is beginning her first year with New Dimensions High School teaching Physical Education/Health and is also the new Athletic Director. She is looking forward to instilling an improved knowledge and passion for fitness at every level in every student. She is hoping to “unlock” the athlete in everyone that attends NDHS.
Ms. Esposito’s interests include camping, running, attending all sporting events and helping student/athletes achieve their goals. Her favorite sport teams are The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
