Advanced Placement  (AP)Program

 

 

AP (Advanced PlacementProgram)
Students interested in potential college course credit can enroll in several of the AP courses available *:

          •       Biology
•       English Language
•       English Literature
•       Human Geography
•       Statistics
•       American History
•       Spanish
·           US Government and Politics

          Studnts must meet pre-requisites to enroll.  Students who score 3 or higher on the AP exam are e eligible to receive college credit from colleges and universities.  Mostcolleges accept AP credit, but the student should check the policy of thecollege choice.

Advanced Placement(AP) Tests

Advanced placement tests are given at the completion of an advanced placement course. (See curriculum guide for complete listing of courses)  The exams are administered in May and the results mailed to the home, high school, and specified colleges.  Most colleges accept AP credit, but the student should check the policy of the college choice.
